About Me
I'm a second-year student at Northwestern University majoring in both Journalism and Political Science. I have a strong passion for reporting and politics, which has led my coursework, on-campus involvement, and external internship experiences to focus on refining my political analysis and broadening my worldview.​

Over the past six years, I’ve built experience in digital, print, and broadcast media, reporting across platforms and collaborating in fast-paced newsrooms. I’ve learned to craft stories that not only inform about a broader picture but connect readers to the people and places that shape their communities. I look forward to where these experiences take me at Northwestern and beyond.​

As a Political Analyst Intern, research regional and national news outlets to evaluate bias by analyzing coverage choices, tone, diction, and other reporting factors to generate Bias Ratings.
Responsibilities include writing in-depth, 4,000-plus-word profiles explaining each outlet’s biases and continually reviewing personal biases to ensure objective analysis.

Wrote 1–2 weekly articles for Our Stories Matter and monthly pieces for major outlets, translating complex social issues into clear, engaging narratives under tight turnaround deadlines. Pitched and placed content across traditional and digital media, tailoring stories to target audiences and current news trends. Collaborated with diverse stakeholders, supported social media efforts to strengthen visibility, and used Google Drive, Microsoft Office, and Canva to produce content.
W Radio/Revista Moi
JULY 2024
Assisted with Martha Debayle en W, Mexico’s top radio show with 190,000 daily listeners, by researching potential guests and coordinating outreach for live interviews.
Edited Revista Moi’s “color test” for grammatical and graphic accuracy in both English and Spanish, and contributed written content to the magazine.

Islander News

From June 2020 to September 2024, an internship with Islander News in Key Biscayne involved developing more than 90 articles for online and print publication, managing the outlet’s online domain, conducting interviews with local business owners, politicians, and experts, and training other interns in website management and content creation.
